Melanie Schorr studied the Hatha yoga system through her mentor, Vijay Amar and participated in, and taught his classes in India at the Universal Yoga Centre in McLeod Ganj. She began a daily practice and attended classes daily as a result of wanting to further her own practice and to heal from her two serious accidents.
Melanie specializes in Hatha yoga and has spent many years teaching this type of yoga, both in group settings and private lessons internationally. She had her own yoga studio on Koh Phangan in Thailand for many years where she taught Hatha Yoga.
